Final Event: One Health and Urban Transformation

Launched in July 2016, the “One Health and Urban Transformation – identifying risks, developing sustainable solutions” Graduate School has engaged in researching the various dimensions and transformations of the urban systems and their impact on human, animal and environmental health, in urban metropolitan areas in Germany, Ghana, India and Brazil. The final event will be held as a hybrid dialogue platform and offer opportunities to discuss findings.

The upcoming final event marks the successful completion of three years of post-graduate research into the interplay of health and urban transformation from a one health perspective. A total of 13 PhD projects are hosted at the One Health and Urban Transformation graduate school, which take transdisciplinary approaches to the research process by involving stakeholders from different fields of practice.

The final event will serve as a dialogue platform and offer the opportunity to discuss research findings. The event will take place in Bonn, Germany, due to the COVID-19 pandemic with on-site participation limited to a maximum of 70 persons, and will include online streaming to enable virtual participation.

Registration will be required and open soon!
