Mid-Term-Meeting Food Pro·tec·ts at Rolduc Abbey
As part of the INTERREG V A project Food Pro·tec·ts, representatives of the lead partner GIQS met with representatives of the various project clusters on 16 and 17 January 2018 for a two-day mid-term meeting at Rolduc Abbey in Kerkrade, the Netherlands. The cluster managers presented the respective interim status in their project cluster and jointly coordinated the activities in the second half of the project.
In addition to various events to be held in the remaining two and a half years until the end of the project at the end of June 2020, the meeting in the abbey’s historical rooms also dealt with the topic of public relations and the question of how the project results can best be processed and made accessible to a broad public. To this end, the attendees once again worked out the intersections of the five technology clusters.
In addition to the work on the content, the participants of the Mid-Term-Meeting also had a historical tour of the various preserved parts of the monastery complex, which is located directly on the German-Dutch border between Kerkrade and Herzogenrath.
Food Pro·tec·ts implemented under the INTERREG V A programme Deutschland-Nederland and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, MWIDE NRW and the provinces of Gelderland, Limburg and Noord-Brabant. It is accompanied by the programme management of the Euregio Rhein-Waal.
