Mrs. Petersen is the GIQS chairwoman since its foundation. Until december 2005 she aligned the project GIQS in meat chains and until february 2005 the scientific accompaniment of the project GIQS in food processing SMEs. Since midyear 2005 she coordinates the administrative project process of the Interreg IIIC program PromSTAP and since january 2006 the project process and scientific accompaniment of the project "GIQS - Risk Control". She is in charge of the Department for Preventive Animal Health Management at the agricltural faculty of the University of Bonn since 1991 with the following main research:
- Development of computer based informationssystems and prognosis models for the support of descriptive, analytical and prognostic epidemiology
- Development of concepts and instruments for indipendent operational and chain related health management- and quality management systems.

Mr. Komen is the secretary of GIQS since June 2007. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University (in 2000). After a short scientific career he is occupied in managerial functions since 2003. From 2005 onwards he is Director Management of the Social Sciences Group, consisting of

Mr. Van der Wolf acts as financial manager of GIQS and as a head of the working group GIQS in meat chains until the end of 2005. Since january 2006, he participates within the project "GIQS - Risk Control", too. He is working for the department of pig health of the Gezondheidsdienst voor Dieren in Deventer/ The Netherlands since 1992. The main focus of his work is on
- Gastrointestinal-Pathogenes and
- Zoonoses, mainly salmonellae.
