Since March 2005 Dr. Martin Hamer is coordinator of the INTERREG IIIC project “PromSTAP” (Promoting the Stable to Table Approach), which was initiated under the lead-management of the office of environment and nature protection, agriculture and the consumer protection (MUNLV) of the state North Rhine-Westphalia. Through his work in MUNLV (Düsseldorf) and the Agricultural faculty of the University of Bonn an effective platform has been established to support the communication flow between politics, public administration and science. The aim of this cooperation is to increase the knowledge and technology transfer between industry, science and administration in order to reduce barriers between the single areas and to lay the foundations for innovations.

Since January 2007 Maren Bruns is the coordinator of a work package within the EU research project from the 6th Framework Programme “Q-PorkChains”. She is above all contact for the Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) of the European pork production. In this context she offers an open platform for the knowledge transfer between industry and research. She coordinates within the project Q-PorkChains also the implementation of research into practice.
Further more she takes care of the general association work and public relations.

With the start of the INTERREG IIIA-Project Managing Risks in January 2006 Oliver Breuer took over responsibility for the theme package “development and testing of effective tools in the CSF-control”. His main tasks, within the area of analysis of veterinarian systems in the Netherlands and North-Rhine-Westphalia, include intensive collaboration with the responsible persons of both countries.
Since February 2007 Oliver Breuer coordinates the entire project which is to come to an end in summer 2008.

Further more he takes care of translations regarding the Dutch language.

Since November 2002 Sabine Pohl is responsible for the finances of the association and the projects.
Next to her task of general bookkeeping, she also manages the preparation of the annual association accounts as well as the operative implementation of the call for funds. She is in contact with personnel administration and with the chartered accountant and supports in diverse ways the board of directors and management.

Claudia Kapfer is a student of nutritional science and home economics. Since January 2007 she is a student assistant for GIQS. She supports the team of the association in different areas. Among other things she is responsible for the updating of the GIQS homepage.
